Hi there,

I’m Burcu, an illustrator and the creator behind Cherry Tags, where I design and produce personalized, waterproof name labels for kids.

Cherry Tags began from a very real part of parent life: trying to keep track of all the little things that tend to go missing. As a mom, I was constantly labeling my daughter’s hats, mittens, school supplies, lunch containers, everything she carried between school, activities, and home. I wanted labels that were not only durable and truly laundry and dishwasher-safe, but also cheerful, modern, and beautifully designed. When I couldn’t find exactly what I had in mind, I decided to create them myself.

With my background in illustration, each label set starts as a hand-drawn concept. I design every character, colour palette, and layout with kids in mind, aiming to make everyday items a little more fun and a lot easier to keep track of. From printing to laminating to cutting, every step is carefully done in-house to ensure the labels are vibrant, long-lasting, and ready for real family life.

Today, Cherry Tags has grown into a small but passionate brand built on creativity, quality, and practicality. It is helping parents stay organized while giving kids a sense of ownership and pride in their belongings.
